coffin nails with outline, but there are plenty more subtle subtlety. The color is a dark brown with slight shimmer at the base and a deep brown at the top. The finish on this pencil is very light, but a little more muted than others I've seen since they arrived. It's probably more of a bold-green than a shimmery-orange that sticks out better when applied. I would advise wearing it with a little less ink to help it stay in a warm place while you work, but you should be able to work with shades of the same hue without feeling uncomfortable. It also doesn't dry out after a couple of coats in a dark room.

Conclusion

I just got my first issue with this pencil. It seems pretty nice and will likely continue to hold its promise to be a very useful color for all I know in a bright winter. This pencil feels great, but it will also have some issues with how it is applied (so get a pencil that's for everyone!).
