After we painted the nails, we started to spray them with a special finishing solvent – that is, beeswax. It was my first use of such a thing though since I am a beekeeper and used to use the beeswax for my nails.
After this spray I used an extra step to clean up my nails. I needed to make 3 different types of paint and paint them each with different colors. If you didn't know I made these colors separately and I think that means you have to take your time. So, go ahead and use whatever you want in it when necessary and be creative. (I love to use a lot of different kinds of paint but I used a lot!)
Before I paint them with beeswax, I thought for sure that they would get wet. I used an old pair of hiking boots so that I could put them on and wet them too. In this process, I soaked them with water of about 6oz/gallon and let them cool for 2-3 hours. I found out I used a lot of that water on one day but not so much on the other. Then again, water is a good solvent for both nail polishing and dry shaving.
